2026 KING SEJONG INSTITUTE KOREAN CULTURE CONTEST

We are excited to announce the 2026 King Sejong Institute Korean Culture Contest, a global cultural competition organized for King Sejong Institute students around the world. The contest aims to discover talented individuals passionate about Korean culture and to provide outstanding participants with an opportunity to experience Korea through an invitation training program.

We encourage all interested students to participate actively!

Eligibility

1. Individual Participation

-Open to all students currently enrolled at King Sejong Institutes.

2. Group Participation

-Open to cultural clubs within the institute.

-Groups must consist of members from the same King Sejong Institute.

-Maximum number of participants per group: 10 members.

-Contest Categories (Choose One)

Participants must choose one of the following Korean culture categories:

CATEGORY 1: K-Pop Dance

Choreography and performance to K-Pop music.

CATEGORY 2: Traditional Music

Korean traditional music performances such as: Pansori, Folk songs, Traditional instrument performances.

CATEGORY 3: Traditional Dance

Korean traditional dance performances such as: Fan dance, Mask dance.

How to Apply: Please submit your video and the application form (click Attachment button to download) to ksicusa@ksif.or.kr.

Apply by: June 6 2026 (PST)

Benefits

All finalists will be given an opportunity to participate in an invitation training program in Korea.

Important Notes Participants should carefully select only one category. Group performances must not exceed the allowed participant limit of 10 members.
